Getting here

The ranch is in Bosque County, 63 miles south of Fort Worth — roughly 45 minutes to an hour from the Metroplex. We don’t publish the ranch address. Once your visit is set, the ranch office will send you directions and a gate contact — save that number before you leave cell coverage.

Flying in? DFW and Love Field are both workable; plan on roughly an hour and a half door to gate depending on traffic.

Licensing

If you’ll be hunting, you need a valid Texas hunting license before you arrive. Non-residents can buy one online through Texas Parks & Wildlife or at most sporting goods stores. Exotics require only a general hunting license and have no season; whitetail are subject to Texas seasons and tagging rules. If you’re not sure what you need, call the office and we’ll sort it out before your trip.

What to bring

• Your license and a photo ID
• Field clothes for the season — Texas weather turns fast, so pack a layer more than you think
• Boots you can walk in; some of the country is rough
• Your rifle and ammunition if you’re hunting (talk to the office about calibers and sighting-in when your visit is scheduled)
• A cooler for meat going home
• Anything you can’t live without — the nearest store is not next door

At the lodge

Every room is a suite with its own private bathroom, and rooms, linens, and the kitchen are ready when you arrive. Starlink internet and cable TV keep you connected if you need to be — though most guests come here to be unreachable. The ranch chef handles the meals, and there’s a game room, gym, courts, shooting, and stocked bass fishing between hunts — the full rundown is on The Lodge page. Daily logistics get arranged with ranch staff ahead of your visit. Treat it like a friend’s ranch house — because that’s what it is.

Ranch rules

• Every firearm is handled as if it’s loaded, everywhere on the property, at all times
• No shooting without a guide or ranch staff present
• Stay on ranch roads unless staff takes you off them — the ranch is a working operation
• Gates get left the way you found them
• Please don’t share the ranch’s location, gate photos, or pins on social media

Take all the pictures you want of your hunt and your trophy. We only ask that posts don’t identify where the ranch is — no geotags, no location tags, no gate or road signage in frame.
