Not only is the ranch a great place to stay and hunt but it is a great base camp for exploring many offsite activities located nearby. Extend your trip to see these great attractions. Golf
Squaw Valley Golf Course is located 15 minutes from our lodge. It is home to 36 holes of Championship Golf, and is consistently rated as one of the top courses in the state, including a 4 1/2 star rating from Golf Digest Magazine. It is also home to the #1 and #4 municipal courses in Texas as ranked by The Dallas Morning News. Perfect for a day trip or even better for a weekend getaway, Squaw Valley features beautiful vistas of century old Oak trees and Squaw Creek that meanders through both courses.

Dinosaur Valley State Park
Long ago, dinosaurs left footprints in the mud at the edge of an ancient ocean. Today, you can walk in their tracks in the bed of the Paluxy River. Not many places can you see actual dinosaur tracks! This long trip to the past is just a 25 minute drive from the ranch. Enjoy an afternoon of hiking one of the most beautiful state parks in Texas.

Ft Worth
Fort Worth is where the West begins, and nothing embodies Western heritage better than the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District. From the original brick walkways to the wooden corrals, every inch of the Stockyards tells the true history of Texas’s famous livestock industry. Ft Worth is located only 45 minutes from the lodge

Magnolia Market
Magnolia Market at the Silos, commonly called Magnolia Market, is a shopping complex that encompasses two city blocks in downtown Waco, Texas. It is marked by two 120’ high silos, built in 1950 as part of the Brazos Valley Cotton Oil Company. Made famous by Chip and Joanna Gaines from HGTV.

Lake Whitney Fishing
24,000 Acre Lake Whitney located near Crown Point Ranch is great fir Striped Bass, White Bass, Smallmouth, Largemouth, Crappie, Channel Catfish, and Blue Catfish. Crown Point Ranch works with local outfits and can put you out for a fun day on the water!

Fossil Rim Safari
Take a true Safari to the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center. Fossil Rim is home to approximately 1,100 animals spanning four dozen species. Visitors have the choice to feed the four-legged residents as they travel along a 7.2-mile drive in their own car or have the animal encounters on a guided tour vehicle.
